• Manufactured from mitred sections of pipe.
• Depending on configuration, Fabricated Fittings are de-rated to approximately 75% of the pressure rating of the pipe they are made from.
• All Fabricated Fittings are available with flanged end connections (recommended on branch of Wyes and Tees to facilitate alignment during installation).
• External reinforcement of the Fabricated Fitting can be used to obtain the full pressure rating of the pipe used to fabricate the fitting (eg. F.R.P. reinforced)
• Fabricated Fittings can be made from pipe with a heavier wall, then the ends of the fittings are chamfered to match the DR of the pipe in the system.
• Minimum DR17 pipe shall be used in the construction of Fabricated Fittings.
• Spool pieces are available. These are short lengths of pipe with end connections: typically Flange Adapters and Backup Rings.
