Current Opportunities:

We are currently recruiting (1) Full-Time CNC Machine Operator and (1) Full-Time Machine Operator. 

POSITION: Machine Operator
HOURS: All shifts as scheduled

QUALIFICATIONS AND TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:
High School Diploma required
Knowledge of machining operations and moulding operations an asset
Conversant in ISO 9001:2008 an asset
Basic math skills to calculate production quantities and quality measurements
Able to follow directions, spec sheets, and basic drawings
Working knowledge of factory production environment
Good communication and listening skills
Require excellent attendance in lean manufacturing environment
Strong attention to detail and able to work in a fast paced work environment
Ability to work different shifts, days, afternoons, midnights
Knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations and Requirements required
Valid class G Driver’s Licence

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Equipment/machine start-up/shut-down as trained
Material handling of raw fittings and resins materials (mixing equipment) as trained
Completing destructive testing daily – squeeze tests
Accurately measure, inspect and test production samples and maintain records
Basic maintenance of machines and equipment as trained
Complete machine pre-use inspections as per training
Create and maintain accurate production and quality records
Clean up and shift start up/close out duties
Maintain equipment and machinery cleanliness
Work in compliance with the companies’ Health and Safety Program and the Occupational Health and Safety Act

 

POSITION: CNC Machine Operator
HOURS: All shifts as scheduled

QUALIFICATIONS AND TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:
High School Diploma required
CNC knowledge and/or experience required
Able to follow directions, spec sheets, and basic drawings
Conversant in ISO 9001:2008 an asset
Basic math skills to calculate production quantities and quality measurements
Ability to work well under pressure
Highly flexible with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
Ability to work different shifts, days, afternoons, midnights
Require excellent attendance in lean manufacturing environment
Knowledge of machining operations and moulding operations an asset
Valid class G Driver’s Licence

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Run daily production on CNC Machines
Basic knowledge of measuring equipment
Interpretation of drawings
Maintain neat and accurate paper work daily
Keep work area neat and tidy at all times
